Bo Yan had drunk a bit today. He had gone out to discuss a new movie with a director.
The director was an internationally-acclaimed director who had debuted with literary films. He had won a lot of major awards in the past, but for the last few years, he had been alternating between commercial and literary films. It was considered that he was at a trough now. Of course, even if he was at a trough, he was still a big director. It was hard to get a script from him.
The script Bo Yan talked about was also commercial-like. The main character oscillated between the innocent main female lead and the sexy second female lead. Of course, the righteous eventually trumped the wicked. The innocent girl defeated the sexy girl, and the protagonist chose the main female lead.
Bo Yan had received this movie script a year ago, but back then, he did not have such a strong desire to accept it.
However, after the events of these last two days, he had immediately agreed when the filmmakers asked him again. Moreover, he did not request a high salary.
He just had one condition: he must have a say in choosing the main female lead.
The filmmakers did not reject him.
Bo Yan had only requested to participate in the audition and give his suggestions. The final decision would depend on what the filmmakers required. Moreover, it was not very hard to act as the main female lead. As long as the person he preferred was not too bad, they would respect his opinion.

After the meal, Bo Yan sat inside his Maybach. Once he got into the car, he leaned against the backseat and closed his eyes. He did not say where he wanted to go.
Song Fengzhi reported his schedule to him, “Brother Bo, you have a livestream in the city tomorrow night. You have another event the day after tomorrow. So you’ll have to stay in the city for at least two days. Then, the auditions for the female actors for the new movie will start soon.”
Bo Yan did not have any opinion, and he stayed quiet for the entire journey.
As he did not speak, Song Fengzhi could only silently drive.
In Yan City, Bo Family had a villa apart from the Bo Family’s house. Usually, Bo Yan would tell Song Fengzhi to send him there.
The car rapidly drove along the road. As the villa was quite far away from the city center, they had to drive along a winding highway. When the lights along the roads dimmed, Bo Yan opened his eyes in the dark.
He did not adjust the car seats. Instead, he sat up straight and looked at the sky outside the window with a cold and indifferent gaze. The tall street lights went further away from one by one and the buildings beside the streets slowly disappeared from his vision. His eyes narrowed as if he remembered something. He then exhaled.
After leaning back against the cushion, he said, “Go to Qing Cheng Apartment Complex.”
The car turned around again and reached the destination soon. Bo Yan alighted the car. But as he thought about it, he returned to retrieve the script and gripped it with his palm. He turned the pages to the main female lead’s part and folded the corners. He even marked out the contact information and the timing for the female actress’ audition.
He entered the password, and the lift went upstairs. When he pushed the door open, he immediately saw the messy high heels which Xia Siyu had taken off.
When he saw the shoes, he lifted his head. Xia Siyu had not turned on the lights in the living room. The house was dead quiet, and the door of her bedroom was closed. A hint of light leaked out of it. Without thinking too much about it, Bo Yan placed the script on the counter beside the foyer and walked toward the room.
