Being With You Forever by Accident - Chapter 28

The only reason why she had prepared this meal was to celebrate the fact that she had finally escaped Fang Rong’s constant pestering after so many years.

However, to Luo Yibei, it clearly wasn’t because of this matter.

She sang to celebrate and made a candle-lit dinner after registering her marriage with him. Was her mood that great?

Fang Chixia didn’t know that he would think that much. After glancing in satisfaction at the dining table she had set up, she turned towards him. “The food is ready.”

Luo Yibei walked over with an indifferent expression and pulled a chair out before sitting down.

She had prepared the dinner rather casually. To be frank, she was a little afraid that he would deliberately make things difficult for her when they ate, so she kept sneaking glances at him.

However, it was fortunate that Luo Yibei didn’t say much during the entire meal.

Fang Chixia really couldn’t tell if he acted this way because of his better upbringing, or if it was because he was a quiet person by nature.

However, no matter what, she wasn’t as reserved in this villa as when she was with the Fang family. She didn’t have to stay guarded constantly against a certain someone either.

When they finished dinner, it was about eight-thirty at night, so it was still a little early.

“Alright, we’ve done what you wanted to do. Now, we should do what I want!” The moment they put down their utensils, Luo Yibei wasted no time in picking her up and he started walking upstairs.

“W-Wait!” Fang Chixia didn’t think that he would be this direct. She didn’t expect him to be in such a rush when it came to such matters despite his calm and ascetic demeanor and suddenly, she felt a little distraught in his arms…

“Why? Are you regretting it?” Luo Yibei raised an eyebrow at her. His tone was filled with a thick layer of ridicule.

She was the one who had suggested for them to marry and she was also the one who confidently talked about fulfilling her role as a wife before they got married. So what was she doing now?

Playing cat and mouse with him?

“I-I…” Fang Chixia played with the hem of her shirt as her eyes unconsciously exuded some nervousness. Yet, she continued to raise her petite face, acting calm and collected as she said, “I only want to go take a shower.”

Luo Yibei’s dark eyes met hers. He stared at her for a long while, great displeasure written in his eyes. However, when they arrived in the bedroom, he still let her down.

Fang Chixia let out a breath of relief softly. She quickly glanced around the room, hurriedly running into the bathroom when she saw where it was.

Bang! The bathroom door was slammed shut.

The bathroom in Luo Yibei’s room was spacious, having almost the same amount of space as an ordinary bedroom. It had everything one would ever need. There were even two sets of things such as bath towels and body wash.

Fang Chixia quietly stared at the feminine essential oil placed by the side of the bathtub. She didn’t know if this was here from before or that it had been prepared last-minute by Luo Yibei’s subordinates after he agreed to register their marriage.

However, what difference would it make?

So what if it had been here from before? Whoever came here before had nothing to do with her.

She filled the large bathtub with warm water before she placed a few droplets of essential oil into the water. Afterward, she even threw all of the rose petals placed in a small basket into the water.

Once everything was prepared, Fang Chixia soaked in the bathtub in relaxation.

It had already been a few hours since she had gotten her marriage certificate, but the truth was that she still hadn’t properly digested the fact that she had gotten married. Currently, her mind was still dizzy from the information.

She got married just like that!

Falling in love, engagement and marriage were things that some were not able to settle in a few years, yet she went through everything within minutes.

Even Fang Chixia felt that she was really quite irresponsible for acting like this.

But, so what?

There really hadn’t been any other choice. If she thought about it carefully, there wasn’t anything bad about getting married.

Luo Yibei and her marriage was a hidden one, so she wouldn’t need to spend any effort and time to assimilate into his social circle. They wouldn’t interfere in each others’ lives either.
