Fuyi Tower.

Li Yan leaned against the door with a cigarette in his mouth. In the room, Xiu’s hair was still wet. She had changed into a set of clothing too large for her which Li Yan had borrowed from a waitress at Fuyi Tower.

“Stay here for the next few days. I’ll think of something and then send you out of Kowloon Walled City.”

“I don’t care. I don’t want to see you again.”

The girl’s voice was hoarse from crying.

Surprisingly, Li Yan was happy to hear those words.

“Great. You take care then.”

In his head, he thought, “I can’t stay for more than a few days anyway.”

Li Yan’s waist was wrapped in bandages. He looked through his phone’s contact list. He gaze flitted between the numbers of Li Yaoguang and Judy.

He’d had a pretty good impression of that white-haired police chief, but then again, an impression was all he had.

Finally, he settled on Judy’s number. At that moment, his phone suddenly vibrated. It was Judy.

Li Yan picked up the call with a complicated expression on his face. “Hello?”

There was no response.

“Ahem. How have you been these few days? My remedy…”

“I flushed it down the toilet.” Her voice was cold.

“Oh… It’s fine. You can vent.” Li Yan raised his brows.

“Is that so?” Judy said teasingly. “So it won’t matter if I flush this strange piece of paper down the toilet as well?”

Li Yan was stunned. “What do you mean?”

“You know very well what I mean.”

“Where did you get that?” A chill ran down Li Yan’s spine. Four of the five fragments were with him right now, but the remaining piece should be…

“Haha.”

Judy cut the call without hesitation.

Li Yan frowned and called back but there was no answer.

He rushed down the stairs, leaving the people of Fuyi Tower to help look after Xiu. He left the Walled City and headed to the villa where Judy usually stayed.

After hanging up, Judy closed the lid. She looked at the man in front of her with her bewitching eyes.

He was wearing a dark striped suit and gold rimmed glasses as he wolfed down the cake in front of him.

It was impossible to tell that this man in front of her was the rising star of He Lian Sheng at the moment. He went by the name Yu.

“I can give you your money at any time. Where’s the thing that I want?”

Yu looked around. There were a few female bodyguards, headed by Li, all glaring at him coldly.

The red glow from “A Strong Impression” state reminded Yu that these women were not only dangerous, but reacting to him with hostility.

“Wait, wait.” He quickly got to his feet and seemed as though he was choking on the cake. He coughed in an unsightly manner for what seemed like forever.

Li glared at the man chugging water down his throat, and a look of disdain flashed in her eyes.

“Two hundred thousand. Just two hundred thousand.”

“Hand it over. Then take your money and leave.”

Judy had no intention of taking her time.

“I wouldn’t keep something worth two hundred thousand on me.” The man flashed a smile, revealing a set of white teeth.

“What do you mean?” Judy forced a smile.

“Come to my house and get it.”

Yu replied slowly as though he did not have a care in the world.

Judy took a good look at Yu and suddenly laughed.

“Alright. No problem.”

If anything happened to her, the whole He Lian Sheng was going down with her. Judy saw no threat from a gang that could be destroyed before they even knew it.

“Lead the way.”

Yu murmured in agreement. He turned around only to have his way blocked by a tall, slender figure.

“Whoa, pretty lady. I almost bumped into you.”

Yu playfully whistled.

A full 1.78 meters tall, Li stood there smiling as she wiped the custard off Yu’s mouth. She leaned and whispered into Yu’s ear.

“I just want to remind you: don’t try anything funny.”

Yu glanced at the half-hidden gun on Li’s waist that she had intentionally revealed.

Belgian M1923 Browning, a gun for real men.

Yu swallowed.

“Understood, understood.”

Before Li Yan had gotten the third transcript fragment from Zhang Mingyuan, he had once encountered another Walker holding onto a fragment.

He and the other Walker had circled around each other for a few days, and he had always seemed to be present in the streets where the triad gangs lingered. Li Yan had guessed that his false identity was one of the men in the gangs. When he had first met Zhang Mingyuan, both fragments had appeared at Fuyi Tower. Since Li Yan had gotten Zhang Mingyuan’s fragment, he was almost certain that this Walker would have figured out his identity.

Interestingly, after the incident with He Lian Sheng’s attack on the Walled City, this person had quietly disappeared from the Walled City and never appeared again within the five kilometer search radius.

Li Yan was confident that this person would appear sooner or later. However, as the time limit of one month began to reach its end, this person seemed to have vanished, leaving no trace at all.

Unexpectedly, the next time he got news of this person was through his call with Judy.

Li Yan had never under-estimated an opponent, especially one that with this degree of patience.

And indeed, the point of entry that this opponent had chosen was especially troublesome for Li Yan.

The bodyguards that Judy had with her on a day-to-day basis were from a security company based in Singapore. The women by her side were all of exceptional skill; with their guns, Li Yan would be left with no option but to flee for his life. However, if the other party were scheming and careless, that could be a different story.

In a situation like this, Li Yan could only hope that these women, who seemed eager to put a bullet through his head for holding hands with Judy, were as tough as they seemed.

“Sir, it’s private property in front. Taxis can’t go in.”

The driver turned around to tell Li Yan.

“What’s the point of putting up all these airs?”

Li Yan tossed a bank note in the cab and cursed as he ran towards the villa.

After five minutes, Li Yan reached the steel gates. He pressed the doorbell.

“Hello, sir. May I ask who you are looking for?”

The voice over the intercom was polite but distant.

“Is Ms. Judy here?”

“I’m sorry, we cannot reveal the whereabouts of our boss. These are our professional ethics.”

Li Yan steadied his breathing. “If I remember your voice correctly, you’re called… Banana?”

The woman looking at the security footage crossed her arms and laughed coldly.

Of course she knew Li Yan. Over the past few days, Judy had nearly used his photograph as a target for shooting practice.

“Where is she? I have something urgent to tell her.”

“Sorry. On our boss’s orders, I can’t tell you.”

“I’m not joking. Your boss’s life could be in danger.”

As a professional, she did not laugh.

“Oh, men,” she sighed internally.

“Sir, if you have something to say, why don’t you say it now? I’ll pass the message along for you.”

Li Yan pursed his lips. He looked around, found a brick and smashed it against the metal railings.

“Security, security!” Banana shouted.

In no time at all, burly guards arrived, the electric batons in their hands crackling non-stop with sparks.

Li Yan spat and then raised his eyebrows slowly.
