“Crowe, I know you’re very strong and capable but please be careful out there.” Sandra voiced her concern.

After all, he was the person who had saved her and Eileen from starving to death in their dorm room. Although she didn’t like Crowe at that point, she had a good impression of him.

“Okay, you guys can stay here for a while.” Crowe nodded slightly.

Sean exchanged a glance with Joan and Marina and then he walked to the back of the room. As he saw Crowe coming out, Sean’s body froze. Crowe didn’t pay much attention to Sean as he walked past without showing any reaction.

“You can rest on the bench over there while I go upstairs and deal with the rest of the zombies,” Crowe said briefly as he walked out of the room.

Sean was stunned as he thought Crowe hated him due to the previous incident. However, Sean could not believe what Crowe had said to him earlier. Sean had to do something to make up for the bad impression that he had given Crowe. Sean thought to himself as he walked to the stool in the outer room and took off his backpack. Although the people in the room were curious, he had no intention of going in to introduce himself. In Sean’s opinion, Joan had something going on with Crowe. The two survivors, as well as Marina, might have also been attracted to Crowe as well.

Crowe didn’t notice that one simple sentence from him could have changed Sean’s mind and made the few girls got attracted to him. If he had known, he might have felt quite strange but he didn’t deny that he also had some interest in the girls and Marina as well.

After he left the dorm, Crowe walked up the stairs and went to the fourth floor. Based on the information from the girls that stayed in this dormitory, he started calculating the possible number of zombies between the floors. The moment he arrived at the fourth floor, Crowe managed to confirm their guesses and he started his killing spree.

In total, he had already killed six zombies on the fourth floor, which was even fewer than the number he killed first and second floors. The zombies were scattered around the entire floor, which include the toilets and in the dorm rooms.

After using the [Intermediate Combat Technique] skill book, Crowe could launch attacks and kill these zombies with ease. Normally, it would’ve taken him some time to sweep the entire floor.

Then, he went to the fifth and sixth floors and saw that the corridors, dorm rooms, and toilets, were also in complete chaos. The number of zombies was much lesser than on the third and fourth floors. He only found four zombies on the fifth floor and another four on the sixth. When he faced each and every zombie, he was able to decapitate them with only a single swing of a blade or a quick movement without him even sweating.

After clearing up all three floors, there was not a single zombie left in the female dormitory. In total, Crowe was able to clear the floors within fifty minutes, which was lesser than an hour. Even for a specially-trained soldier or anyone else, they would not be able to achieve what Crowe did with only a blade in their hands. He gained an additional 14 points, which had set him in a good mood. The only thing that would’ve ruined his mood would be the foul and disgusting smell that made him feel ill.

He quickly returned to Room 315. He knocked on the door and the sound of footsteps approaching came from inside and opened the door. The person who opened the door was Sean.

“Crowe, you’re back,” Sean said happily.

“Huh?” Crowe looked at Sean in surprise. Why was this kid suddenly acting warm towards him?

His impression of Sean wasn’t very good. Crowe had scared Sean off before this, but now, he was acting warm even though he looked away unconfidently when he saw Crowe. What changed? However, no matter what Sean was thinking, Crowe didn’t worry. In a situation like this, strength was the most important thing. In the face of absolute power, all schemes and tricks would have been useless.

“Okay.” Crowe didn’t care much to reply. He nodded in response but Sean didn’t show any dissatisfaction when he saw Crowe’s indifferent look.

“The survivors and our team may need to rest for a while. We’ll go to the cafeteria later. There might be a huge battle on the way. You should continue to rest, don’t worry about me.” Crowe said to Sean.

“Okay,” Sean replied.

Crowe paid Sean no attention, he walked into the bedroom. It was full of girls in the room where Sandra and Eileen used to live. Yet Crowe’s expression was as indifferent as before.

“You’re back.” Joan, who was sitting on a small sofa, heard the noise at the door and knew that Crowe came back. She stood up and greeted Crowe when she saw him walking in. Marina, who was sitting next to Joan, also stood up and welcomed him.

“There’s no need to get up.” Crowe smiled and stopped them when he saw what they were trying to do.

“Here, have some water.” Joan didn’t listen, she picked up the bottle of water that Crowe had given her from the small table next to the sofa and handed it to Crowe.

Crowe didn’t show any surprise and accepted it happily. He opened it as he walked in and took two big sips. In fact, the smell outside was too strong and nauseous. After he drank his share of water, he handed the bottle back to Joan.

The bedroom was quite spacious, there was a small sofa on the opposite side of the two beds. It was big enough for three people to sit on. Normally, Sandra and Eileen wouldn’t have had to squeeze in. Originally, Marina and Joan were sitting next to each other but as Crowe arrived, the seating position had changed to Crowe sitting in the middle, with Marina on the right, and Joan on the left.

“How long have they slept?” Crowe asked as he sat down. When he entered the bedroom, he saw Sandra and Eileen lying on the same bed with their eyes closed. They were in deep sleep.

“After you left, they wanted to wait to make sure you would be alright but seeing that they were too tired Marina and I told them to go rest first. It was just a few minutes after you left.” Joan replied.

Sandra and Eileen were both mentally and physically exhausted because they had been under pressure for such a long time. Crowe saved them, he had killed all the zombies on this floor and gave them the food and water they needed, which made them relaxed and were able to sleep.

After Crowe went out to hunt the zombies on the upper floor, the girls’ tiredness and sleepiness had taken over their bodies. Both Sandra and Eileen felt that their eyelids were heavy despite their initial plan was to wait for Crowe’s return before heading to bed. Even though the act was against their will, Sandra and Eileen’s heads were bobbing up and down from their drowsiness, their tired bodies finally succumbed and they fell asleep peacefully in their dorm. Crowe was listening to Joan and Marina as they told Crowe what had happened.

“I see.” After listening to Joan’s explanations, Crowe understood and couldn’t help but feel a little satisfied that the two girls were willing to wait for him and his safety was their main concern.

‘Both Sandra and Eileen are nice people and had are able to handle their emotions so well.’ Crowe thought to himself..
