Antagonists Are Very Well-Behaved Today - Chapter 22

No one knew that when Qi Muwu came to visit, Qi He was actually quite delighted.

He thought that his father had finally remembered him.

And that in Qi Muwu’s heart, he still regarded him as a son.

He thought… that he hadn’t been completely abandoned.

However, it had been proven that he had been too naive!

Qi He was a piece of trash that had been carelessly thrown away.

He thought that he might still be of some value, but in actual fact, he was nothing at all.

He had deliberately angered Qi Muwu earlier on. He wanted to see how heartless Qi Muwu could be. Let Qi Muwu beat him to death if he really wanted to!

It had been proven that Qi Muwu hadn’t treated him as his son. His beating was really vicious and brutal. He hadn’t been able to move until now.

Qi He cried and laughed, and the cycle repeated itself… until he finally began to scoff.

Sometimes for a person’s heart to die, it was something really easy.

As long as one’s trust or faith had collapsed and you knew that you had been completely abandoned, your heart would be dead as you had nothing left in life. And soon, you would fall into a bottomless abyss.

Fanxing came home very late tonight.

She had sneakily eaten spicy snacks in class.

After eating, she stuffed the packet back into her bag. Unfortunately, the snacks fell out from the packet and were scattered all over the floor. It resulted in the Math teacher slipping on one and spraining her leg! That was too much!

Even if she had a powerful backer, this was overboard! She had to be punished!

Thus, her punishment was that she had to be on cleaning duty for a month.

She swept and cleaned the classroom as she munched on nuts. This odd girl was really one of a kind.

She went forward to sweep the floor as she ate her nuts. She spat it out and swept again. After she finished, she turned around. Huh?

Why was the back of the room dirty?

So she had to clean it again.

By the time she was done cleaning, all the students had already gone back to their dormitories after their night revision.

Little Chief opened the door and peered inside curiously.

Why were the lights off?

Qi He, the little flower, wasn’t at home?

After she went in, she saw Qi He sitting in a daze on the floor. There was a handprint on his face; he must have been slapped by someone.

Fanxing sat down across from Qi He and gazed at him intently.

Soul Searching Spirit said, ‘Miss Fanxing, please console him.’ Someone needs to send hope in this sea of despair and comfort in times of sorrow. This will prevent God of War from giving up on himself and embarking on a path of destruction.

This was so simple, yet it would have to teach it to her step by step.

Oh my god!

It was about to continue telling Fanxing how to comfort a man whose feelings had been hurt.

Little Chief had quietly shuffled and moved towards Qi He. Then in the blink of an eye, she put her arms around Qi He’s neck and stretched her hands to rub his head.

“Hush, don’t be sad. I’m here.”

This scene… How should one describe it?

Soul Searching Spirit felt that something was off, but it couldn’t put it in words.

Qi He didn’t react despite being hugged so suddenly.

If it was a normal person, he or she should be able to feel the love of a mother from a hug.

Little Chief grabbed and pressed him forcibly against her chest. Didn’t it look as though a mother was giving love to her son?

Fanxing had no idea how she should comfort someone.

Someone had once done this to her.

Who was it?

She couldn’t remember.

Initially, Qi He felt nothing despite being hugged. After coming out of his daze, he felt something soft and smelled something nice.

Today’s beating had completely frozen his heart and even his bones. It made him feel that everybody had thrown him away, and there was no warmth left in the world.

However, some of the warmth seemed to be returning.
