Ancient One - Chapter 2.1

Chapter 2.1: In the Classroom

The entire audience was stunned. They looked at one another, face full of dismay. What Yunxiao said was outside the scope of their textbook.

Luo Yunchang’s pupil shrank and she  subconsciously blurted out, “If that’s the case, then the more Heavenly Crystal Sand is added during the refining process, the better, but why would it be easier for the Red Refined Copper to fail after its been dissolved by the Brilliant Gold?”

This was the main issue that bothered her the past few days. She couldn’t figure it out no matter the arduous effort she put in. So in these recent days, she was quite depressed. At this moment, she blurted out the question plaguing her heart. She no longer looked the part of a teacher at this moment. Instead, she was the one asking for guidance.

What was that?

All of the students in the class had their mouths hanging wide open while they looked at Teacher Luo in shock. Looking at her now, was she still the knowledgeable and arrogant teacher they knew?

Yunxiao still had a carefree look on his face as he patiently replied, “While the Red Refined Copper is smelted in gold, the temperature remains a bit hot. The gold from the southern fire is extremely soluble, therefore, many Arcane Masters like to use Brilliant Gold when they want to refine their Red Refined Copper Profound Weapon. However, the Sky Crystal Sand inside is completely different.”

“Because the Sky Crystal Sand is a water attribute, it can neutralize the Red Refined Copper’s fire attribute, so the more neutralized it is, the weaker the power of the Brilliant Golden’s dissolver ability.”

“Ah!” Luo Yunchang’s eyes flashed a hint of excitement. “So that’s how it is! So that’s how it is! No wonder I can’t succeed. What should I do…?!”

She began calculating the scene of the refining process in her mind. It flashed through one after another before she finally reached the final destination, and then, her eyes suddenly brightened and her face lit up with a beaming smile.

“Hmm? Where’s Li Yunxiao?”

She felt a burst of gratitude in her heart, but at the same time, she was greatly shocked. The knowledge of the youth in her mind was that of a crippled waste. To think his level was actually higher than her own genuinely advanced disciple!

With such strong talent for alchemy, his future is certain to be bright. Was such a student still a waste?

She quickly recalled every little detail of Yunxiao’s past while inwardly scolding herself. As the homeroom teacher, she actually failed to notice a bright and outstanding talent.

“He… he just went out…” A student said submissively. His gaze towards Luo Yunchang became extremely strange.

“Hmm?” Luo Yunchang’s brows twitched. “You actually ignored me during class session and directly slipped away?!”

The student hastily retracted his gaze and weakly said, “Teacher, didn’t you say that god he answers the question right, then he wouldn’t need to attend your class? If it was me, I would also have left.”

Luo Yunchang’s palm struck the podium made out of black iron. It left a palm print. She shook the entire class causing their hearts to jump. They all held their breaths, none daring enough to make the slightest peep.

“Which one of you heard what I said?!”

Her watery gaze swept across the students one by one. All the students who gaze met hers were stunned for a moment. Their face turned pale as they shop their heads like rattle drums.

“I didn’t say, I didn’t say! We heard wrong! Teacher Luo has never said such a thing!”

“Hmmph!”

“Class is over!” She said coldly. “Tell Li Yunxiao that if he’s nowhere to be seen in the next class, then he’ll be sent to the gravity force with ten times the gravitational force for three days!”

Everyone sucked in a breath of cold air as they watched Luo Yunchang kick open the door to the classroom and left.

Like the galling wind, she flew towards the direction of the Alchemy Hall. All of them looked at one another in dismay.

“Hey, what’s the situation you’re talking about?” Du Feng was the first to speak. He stood up from his seat and walked over towards a tall young man. “Boss, what’s going on?”

“Hmmph!”

The tall young man, Lan Fei, seemed to be the alpha of the pack. A group of people quickly surrounded him, then he snorted. “How would I know? Seems like that kid, Li Yunxiao, knows quite a few things about refining techniques.”

“That can’t be!” Shangguan Qing’s eyes widened as he cried out. “Could it be that this trash is actually a genius?! What should we do?”

Pah!

“Boss is right!”

Everyone echoed in agreement, eyes flickering with different emotions.

Lan Fei used one hand to push Shangguan Qing to the side while a few others on the side whispered softly.

Lan Fei let out a heavy sneered and shouted, “Don’t tell anyone about what Teacher Luo said just now! Awoooo~”

With a loud snort, the rest of the people immediately turned pale with fright. Seeing the tall young man coldly glare at them, they lowered their heads in fury.

“Chen Duo, Han Feiyu, Qin Ruxue, you little mischievous girls, don’t you dare do anything! If Li Yunxiao comes after class, I’ll find you guys to settle the scores!”

These few people were those relatively close to Yunxiao. They could be said to be the Lan Fei and his pack’s opposing force.

Qin Ruxue’s face turned cold. She clenched her small fists and said angrily, “I’m about to go. What can you do to me?! Let me see if you have the ability to do so!”

Whoosh!

Lan Fei grew ired. He leaped from his seat and stroked to the podium and punched out with his fist.

Pah!

A loud sound was heard as it hit the black metal. A shallow imprint the size of a fist appeared on the podium.

“Black Iron Seal! Could it be that Lan Fei managed to gather spirit energy through his seven meridians?”

“How is this possible?! If you open up all seven meridians, you can step on the First Realm, the Warrior Realm. Lan Fei’s only fifteen years old!”

“I think it’s enough even if he hasn’t fully opened it. A fifteen years old Warrior, huh… Seems like another genius has appeared from the Sky Water Nation!”

Sighs could be heard everywhere as dozens of the students’ gazes were filled with mere jealousy and hate.
