All Five of My Sisters Have Systems - Chapter 11

“Wrong? How could it be?” thought Catherine.

Catherine took the documents and checked them carefully.

These documents were all collected from various thesis websites and professional programming journals. One could say that all of them were written by well-respected experts in this field.

How could there be a mistake?

Catherine looked at them a few more times and did not find anything wrong.

Because she needed these documents for her study, she had been reading these documents for several days, and there was no way she would fail to notice any mistakes for all these days.

“Perhaps Simon was just anxious to prove himself and did not check them carefully,” thought Catherine.

She thought this was very possible.

Then she smiled at Simon. “Simon, if you are interested, I can spare some time tomorrow to teach you. But it’s too late now. You should hit the sack now.”

After finishing speaking, she got to her feet and wanted to leave.

Simon raised his hand and blocked her way.

From the knowledge he had obtained, there was an inconspicuous calculation error in the data in these documents.

Every number played a very important role in academic research. A small mistake could directly overturn the entire conclusion.

The reason Catherine had not made any progress in her study may be because she had consulted this inaccurate data.

Simon already had a conclusion in his head, but he knew that Catherine would definitely not believe his theory.

He had to gain his trust first.

Simon pulled a sincere face and said, “Fourth Sister, I can’t sleep. Your documents are very interesting. Tell me more.”

His thirst for knowledge was really hard to refuse.

If Catherine went back to her room now, she probably could not fall asleep. She would likely sit before the desk and read those documents until dawn.

Therefore, she would rather have a chat with Simon.

Beginners would always come up with all kinds of fantastic ideas because of their lack of experience.

Perhaps talking with Simon could inspire her.

Thinking of this, Catherine readily agreed, “Since you are interested, let’s go to my room. There’re more documents there.”

Hearing that she invited him to go to her room, Simon was a bit surprised.

Simon had never been to a girl’s room before.

He felt a bit curious about how it looked.

It just so happened that Catherine had already punched in his room for more than a minute, so her leaving now would not affect his reward.

Simon nodded and said, “Alright, let’s go. Thanks for keeping me company.”

It was already late at night, and the two of them quietly went down to the second floor. The other sisters had already turned off their rooms’ lights and gone to bed. Only Catherine’s door was slightly opened, and the light leaked out through the door.

Catherine thought that Lydia might still be staying in her room, but she did not think too much and pushed the door open and entered the room straightaway.

When she saw the extraordinary situation in the room, Catherine was petrified on the spot.

Simon followed behind her, and when he looked over her head, he saw that the room was a mess!

The wardrobe door was wide open, and bras and underwear were thrown willy-nilly all over the bed. There were all sorts of underwear. The basic, light-colored one, the almost transparent one, and the one with black laces!

Lydia rummaged through Catherine’s underwear as if a pirate was looking for treasure.

Although Catherine looked quiet on the surface, the style of her underwear was a little wild. Simon seemed to catch sight of an orange one with a leopard pattern.

It was both sharp and tacky.

He did not dare to comment further. He could only bite his lips, lower his head, and pretend that he did not see anything.

However, the half-covered underwear was too eye-catching. It was only half the size of a standard bra. Simon wondered how it could be fastened inside, would it not pop open?

Girls’ clothes were indeed a magical existence!

Seeing that her private items were exposed, Catherine was so embarrassed that she hoped that the ground would swallow her up.

Her face was as red as an apple. She hurriedly picked up the bra on the bed and explained, “Lydia, that wretched girl. She went through my clothes and didn’t put them away. Simon, I’m sorry. I’ve made a fool of myself.”

However, there was too much of her underwear. There was no way she could hold them in her arms. She picked up one piece and then another piece dropped from her arms because there were too many of them.

Simon was too embarrassed to help her pick up the girl’s private items. He could only carefully suggest, “Fourth sister, why don’t you put them in the wardrobe first?”

She kept trying to stuff all underwear into her arms. She had almost checked all of her underwear.

After hearing Simon’s words, Catherine seemed to have woken up from a dream. She stuffed everything in the wardrobe and then slammed the door.

She leaned against the wardrobe door and panted heavily as if she had used up all her strength.

She had really made a fool of herself again!

She had never been so embarrassed in her life!

“Lydia, you’re in big trouble!” screamed Catherine inwardly.

Catherine had decided that she would settle a score with Lydia one day. She smiled bitterly and said, “I’m sorry for making a fool of myself.”

“That’s all right. No worries.”

In order not to make the atmosphere awkward again, Simon took the initiative to ask, “Fourth sister, do all the documents you’re using on the bookshelf?”

“Yes, the difficulty level of these books increases from left to right. You can start from the leftmost side first,” Catherine reminded.

A whole row of books was all about programming. Simon randomly picked one and opened it.

There were many notes densely written in the book. There were also important sentences that were marked out with various colored markers.

From the notes, one could tell that Catherine was a fantastic student.

No matter how obscure the words were, with Catherine’s notes, it looked as simple as ABC.

Simon flipped through it twice and put it back. He skipped the middle and took out the book at the back.

Catherine asked in surprise, “You’ve read all the books at the front?”

Simon nodded and said, “I’ve learned programming for a while. I’ve read all these.”

Self-study?

Catherine obviously didn’t believe it. She picked out a simple book from the bookshelf.

She then asked two questions from the book, and Simon answered them easily.

She couldn’t help but show an appreciative smile. “You really know this stuff.”

Catherine wanted to figure out how much Simon had studied, so she changed to a more advanced book. As usual, Simon was not stumped.

“You shouldn’t be studying science and engineering in college. You should come to my university,” Catherine said with a smile.

“Fourth Sister, you’re joking. Let’s continue,” Simon said.

Catherine was surprised.

Simon had already outstripped many college students in programming knowledge.

He even asked her to continue asking?

She had to suspect that there may be no problems that could stumble him.

Catherine finally chose a question that had been difficult for her in the past.

In order to solve it, she spent two weeks in the library. Eventually, under the guidance of an old professor at Oxford University, she fully understood the principle behind it.

She blocked the answer, spread the book with the question on the table, and said, “If you can solve this question, you are qualified to study it with me.”

Catherine still had some confidence in her knowledge.

She took out a stack of draft paper and placed it on the table. She said proudly, “You can take your time. No need to hurry.”

As soon as she said that, Catherine heard the rustling of writing.

Simon was writing rapidly on the table!

Rows of symbols were written all over the draft paper without any pause.

Catherine gasped in surprise and walked to Simon.

He was actually solving the problem?!

He was solving the problem without any reference books or materials?!
