Chapter 39 Trio
After Xia Yan visited her grandma, she arranged to meet Jiang Tong at the studio. Xia Yan had been getting a lot of new orders recently, and Jiang Tong started to feel uncertain.
The two chatted until the evening when they realized that their stomachs growled with hunger.

Jiang Tong blushed. “W-What are you talking about?!”
Xia Yan pursed her lips and chuckled. “Okay, okay! I’ll keep my mouth shut. I won’t interfere with your little romance, all right?”
Xia Yan’s mocking tone and expression made Jiang Tong’s face even redder. Jiang Tong and Qiu Kai were Xia Yan’s old friends. One was her university classmate, and the other was her primary school classmate.

Jiang Tong waved her hand, got up, and walked to the fridge. She opened the fridge and took some beer. “School results and talent aren’t the same things. You’re a talented person that can design unique jewelry.”
Jiang Tong was full of admiration as she spoke. She wasn’t jealous at all. “I’m just following you. If I keep doing that, I can truly walk down this path.”
Xia Yan fixed her gaze on Jiang Tong. She took a can of beer from Jiang Tong and blinked thoughtfully before saying, “Sometimes, your words make me feel your profound love for
me.”
“Yes! I love you to death!” Jiang Tong chuckled, picked up her can of beer, and opened it with a spurt. Then she took a deep breath and continued, “You assisted me in getting a big house! You also helped me realize my dream of living in that small town. Of course, I love you!”

Then the studio door opened, and Qiu Kao walked in bearing food. He looked at the two women holding their beers and asked, “Did I arrive at a bad time? We’re starving over here!”

Qiu Kai never attended university. He worked at a factory after graduating from high school. He then became Xia Yan’s driver and errand boy when Xia Yan set up her studio.
