She sat up immediately.

“What’s wrong? Has the guardian beast appeared again?”

“No. How was your rest?”

Felicia stretched her body and replied, “I slept a little so my energy has been replenished. But I’m just a little hungry now.”

Nancy said softly, “Me too, I want to drink water.”

Felicia said, “We haven’t eaten or drank for at least five hours. If we don’t eat, we can still tolerate it. But we won’t be able to survive if we don’t drink water.”

Nancy was also a little worried. She said softly, “I thought I wouldn’t be hungry in the game.”

Felicia said, “Even when playing normal games, you consume energy.”

She frowned slightly and continued, “In addition, running and fighting consumes more energy. We’re only halfway through the game. After that, hunger coupled with insufficient stamina will increase the difficulty even more.”

Hearing this, Nancy looked even more troubled.

Felicia said, “But there’s no need to worry. We’re already proficient in battling the guardian beast, so we should be able to hold on until the end of the game.”

“What if… the next guardian beast is a tiger or a bear?”

The little girl’s moist eyes were filled with worry.

Felicia laughed, “That won’t happen. The first round of the game won’t be too difficult. In other words, we’re in the beginner’s village right now. Look at the guardian beasts from before. They’re almost all beasts that we can deal with.”

The girl heaved a sigh of relief and said with a smile, “Felicia, you know a lot.”

“I used to be a gaming fan who played all kinds of games, so I know such rules very well.”

She stood up and said, “Let’s go. The clue says to go left. Let’s go left.”

“Yeah.” Nancy stood up as well.

On the other side.

The youngster and the middle-aged man turned this round into a running competition.

Ten minutes later, they lay on the ground, sweating profusely.

Since they did not get any clues, they were not in a ‘hurry’ and simply lay on the ground to rest.

Just as they were about to fall asleep in a daze, they were suddenly pulled back to consciousness by a gurgling sound.

The youth asked weakly, “Sir, what’s that sound?”

The middle-aged man’s eyes were clear, and he was not sleepy at all. He said in a low voice, “Your stomach is growling.”

The young man narrowed his eyes and rubbed his empty stomach, “I’ve gotten a little hungry.”

He licked his lips, “Sir, why do I always smell a stench?”

The middle-aged man stared at him, “If you wipe the feces off your face, the stench will disappear.”

“F*ck!”

The young man suddenly sat up and spat a few times. He pulled up his sleeves and wiped his face.

“This is too much. Not only did it not give us any clues, it even used chicken poop to attack us. That rooster must have done it on purpose.”

After he was done, his gaze inadvertently swept across the person opposite to him.

He frowned and said, “Sir, you look terrible. Were you injured by the wings of the iron rooster?”

The middle-aged man shook his head, “I’m thinking about what kind of guardian beast will appear next.”

The youth crossed his legs and said, “From the previous guardian beasts, I reckon that the animals will involve chickens, ducks, cows, and sheep, so…”

He snapped his fingers, “What comes next will either be a pig, a duck, or a fish. Hey, what’s with that look on your face?”

The middle-aged man said, “You have a point.”

“Hahaha.”

The young man smiled, “I’m just saying. But I feel that since we’re in the beginner’s village, the difficulty of the game should be within a bearable range.”

The middle-aged man thought for a while and said, “It seems that playing games isn’t all bad.”
