“Wow, Yinyin, you’re rich!” As soon as Guo Miaoxuan received Li Weiyin’s phone call, she walked out with Angel, but when she saw the sleek and almost brand new limited edition sports car, she froze.
This car had an 8-figure price tag and was on a different level to the car that she had.
The car stopped and Li Weiyin tried to get out, but Xu Yimo held her back, “Yinyin, wait!”
After speaking, he ran around from his side of the car and helped her open the door.
Guo Miaoxuan froze even more as her gaze fixed on Xu Yimo’s body. As she looked at him, she almost drooled.
Li Weiyin smiled as she stepped out of the car. When she saw Guo Miaoxuan’s infatuated gaze, she couldn’t help but roll her eyes, “Wipe your mouth, you’re almost dribbling.”
Guo Miaoxuan subconsciously wiped her mouth. When she discovered there was nothing there, she glared at Li Weiyin angrily.
“Miss Guo, let me officially introduce you to my husband, Xu Yimo,” Li Weiyin said with seriousness.
As soon as she heard the word, ‘husband’, Guo Miaoxuan immediately snapped out of her daze and her infatuated gaze turned sharp as she analyzed Xu Yimo in a picky manner.
Guo Miaoxuan pulled her aside and said quietly, “Why did you get married so quickly? What’s the reason? Were you charmed by his good looks like I was? Yinyin, I know that good looks may not be a bad thing; dating isn’t an issue. But, marriage should be carefully considered.”
“I know what I’m doing,” Li Weiyin did not deny that she liked good looks too.
Appearance definitely added points to her impression of a person, but she would never be blinded by it.
“You got married so sudden. When’s the wedding? I want to be your bridesmaid…”
“We are not holding a wedding. It’s not convenient to talk out here. Let’s talk inside,” Li Weiyin glanced at Xu Yimo who was kneeling down to play with Angel as it circled her body. “Yimo, we are going inside.”
“Yinyin, your doggie is so cute,” Xu Yimo said as he patted Angel.
“That voice…” Xu Yimo had not spoken until that point so Guo Miaoxuan assumed he was a gentle, reliable, and kind-hearted man.
But, even though his voice was pleasant, his tone sounded a little childish…
Li Weiyin smiled at her slightly and stretched out her hand towards Xu Yimo.
Xu Yimo grabbed her hand and used the other hand to hold onto Angel’s leash.
After they arrived inside Guo Miaoxuan’s home, Li Weiyin helped Xu Yimo get acquainted with Angel before she left them to play together.
She then sat on a bench in the garden with Guo Miaoxuan and explained her situation to her.
“What?!” Guo Miaoxuan stood up in shock as she looked at Xu Yimo who was chasing Angel under the sun with a childlike laughter. A complex look appeared in her eyes, “Yinyin, are you throwing away your life like this?”
“How is this throwing away my life?” Li Weiyin looked at her questioningly.
“He…”—Guo Miaoxuan quickly lowered her voice—”What can he give you?”
Li Weiyin looked at Xu Yimo as Angel circled around him. “Miaomiao, you know what? I have only been with him for less than 24 hours, but I believe he can give me a relaxed, carefree, warm, happy…and comfortable home.”
This was a strange feeling that Li Weiyin couldn’t explain.
Under the sunlight, Li Weiyin lifted her head slightly. Her fair skin was covered in a light golden glow and her gaze was gentle. Guo Miaoxuan could tell that Li Weiyin was truly happy.
