A Different Husband Every Day - Chapter 43

Xu Yimo’s room was extremely big; from the looks of it, it appeared to be 50-60m².

As the wooden carved double doors opened, there was a small living room with a cutout golden thread wood partition on the right. Behind the partition was a large bed and to the right of it was a study room and balcony.

The balcony ran alongside the corridor, and through the windows, one could see a fake mountain, some greenery, and a small jade-colored lake.

“Your suitcase is here,” Xu Yimo said as he dragged Li Weiyin away from the window to the closet.

Even though Li Weiyin was born into a wealthy family, she was dumbfounded by the closet. It was huge!

There was storage space on all 4 sides of the wall, and rows of hanging clothes, shoes, ties, and hats were arranged in an orderly manner.

They were even categorized clearly. One side was more casual with T-shirts, pants, and athletic wear.

Another side was extremely formal with suits and business shirts organized meticulously inside clothing covers.

The third side was regular everyday wear, including sweaters, shirts, jeans, and pants.

And the last side had dazzling colors of purple, red, green, and gold…

People often said that a person’s closet reflected their personality. Li Weiyin swept her eyes across Xu Yimo’s closet and realized he welcomed anything and did not have a particular style.

Or perhaps, Mrs. Xu prepared all this because Xu Yimo did not have any fixed preference yet. Thus she prepared a bit of everything.

While Li Weiyin was analyzing the closet, Xu Yimo had already cleared out half the space on the casual-styled wall.

“Yinyin, you can place your clothes with mine. Those belong to my younger brothers, we can’t use them.”

“Younger brother?” Li Weiyin captured these two words keenly.

Xu Yimo nodded with seriousness. Sticking up one finger at a time, he finally paused on three, “I have three younger brothers.”

“You all live in the same room?” Li Weiyin hurried out to have another look at the room.

The room was big, but there was only one bed. Even though the bed was big, it could only fit three people at most—four people were impossible.

But, if they didn’t share the same room, why did they store their clothes together?

Or did they simply share a closet?

Li Weiyin looked at Xu Yimo’s clear and pure eyes again and began to wonder if she had truly misunderstood.

Feeling a little embarrassed, she asked, “Yimo, do you and your brothers look alike?”

“My brothers look exactly like me,” Xu Yimo said as he pursed his lips. “Yinyin, let’s not talk about my brothers. They don’t come out often.”

His brothers were impressive; he was the only stupid one. If Yinyin liked his brothers and didn’t like him anymore, what would he do?

Li Weiyin was sure, at that moment, that Mrs. Xu didn’t just have one son like people rumored—she actually had quadruplets!

That meant, Xu Yimo was truly intellectually disabled and she had actually met one of Xu Yimo’s brothers the other night. In that case, she had misunderstood him.

Li Weiyin felt so bad, she didn’t even notice Xu Yimo’s last sentence about them ‘not coming out often’.

She walked over and held Xu Yimo’s hand, “Yimo, I’m sorry, I misunderstood you earlier.”

Yinyin’s sudden change made Xu Yimo feel warm and happy. Yinyin definitely wouldn’t like his brothers—she liked him the most!

“I like you, Yinyin,” Xu Yimo’s eyes sparkled like they contained the entire galaxy.

Li Weiyin felt a sense of relief. “Let me unpack.”

“I’ll help you.”

Without refusing, Li Weiyin handed some coats to Xu Yimo.
